Reaching Wider
South West Wales Partnership
Aiming to widen access into higher education across the whole student age range, the Reaching Wider Partnership organise learning and aspiration raising activities.
Funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales Reaching Wider Initiative, Trinity Saint David sits in the South West Wales Partnership. The partnership includes all the regions’ higher education institutes, further education colleges, Careers Wales West and relevant schools.
Organisations within the Partnership run projects which aim to extend educational participation to previously excluded and under-represented groups of people.
The activities are mainly aimed towards Communities First residents, young people with disabilities, ethnic minority communities, Welsh medium learners and Looked After Children / Care Leavers (see our Care Leavers Guide).
