About
Tŷ Ffilm (Film House) is a new local film initiative to get independent and student films screened in the local community. In partnership with the The Parrot in Carmarthen, the school of Creative Arts is supporting the work of its students and local film makers by providing a platform for showing work which might other wise be lost in the noise of Youtube. Every month during term time there will be an oppertunity to see something different, exciting, and fresh.
Upcoming Events
Thursday 15th November 2012- Peter Finnemore. Peter Finnemore, who represented Wales at the Venice Biennale in 2005, will be presenting a selection of his film work.
Thursday 24th January2013- SCI-FI Shorts. A collection of short films produced in collaboration with staff and students from Coleg Sir gar.
Thursday DATE TBC February 2013- Local Surf Films.
Thursday DATE TBC March 2013- Bring Your Films Night. Your chance to show and view your own films.
DATE TBC May 2013- School of Creative Arts Film and Media Graduate Show.
