Trinity Saint David student 3rd in a world championship contest

Sam Davenport – a first year BA Physical Education student at Trinity Saint David was crowned 3rd in the World Surf Kayak Championship in Nags Head North Carolina, USA this October.

Sam is currently holds the British championship and has been ranked second in the British ranking list for the last three years.

He is also the GB no 1 in the ‘short boat’ surf kayak category whilst his fellow Physical Education student in his third year Jack Horwell, is at no.3. Both are from Cornwall.
