The University of Wales Trinity Saint David has a long-standing relationship with institutions in North America and recently Kevin Matherick, Dean of the Faculty of Arts & Social Studies, visited Pennsylvania to take forward new links with Marywood University in Scranton and Wilkes University in Wikes Barre.

These links were initially forged by Mr Anthony Samuel in the University’s School of Business and the first students from Pennsylvania have arrived in Wales in recent months. Mr Samuel has a significant interest in developing these new partnerships as his family history includes links in the area. It is hoped that students from Wales will also be able to visit Pennsylvania as the relationship develops. During his visit Mr Matherick met key colleagues from the respective international offices and senior staff at both institutions.
