President of Averett University visits Carmarthen Campus

Dr. Tiffany Franks, President of Averett University, Virginia, visited the Carmarthen Campus on 1 August to discuss how our two institutions might work more closely together.
Dr. Russell Grigg, Head of the South West Wales Centre of Teacher Education will visit Averett in September to consolidate plans.
International Officer Kath Adnum, said:
“The visit by President Franks confirmed our institutions commitment to the partnership. Dr. Franks was very interested in the internship (work placements) we offer our study abroad students. Both institutions are clearly committed to the student experience and the benefits of internationalisation.”
