The international experience...

The School of Early Childhood, staff and programmes, have been greatly influenced by good practice from all over the world. Members of staff have studied in Reggio Emilia in Italy, with Forest Schools in Denmark and Sweden, and the inspirational provision in Aotearoa-New Zealand.

We welcome students from all over the world and encourage our home students to visit other countries. Our close links with Sweden have led to opportunities for second year BA students to visit early years provision there.

The University also offers student internships which enable students to fund study and work abroad.

In the past, students have worked for short periods in the USA, Denmark and even as far afield as Australia.
