Facilities
The School of Sport, Health and Outdoor Education has a range of sporting facilities appropriate to course content.
These include: 2 fully equipped gymnasia; heated indoor swimming pool; floodlit astra turf; tennis courts; multi-gym and extensive playing fields. The University has prioritised the building of a new Sports Hall and Indoor Tennis and Cricket Centre as part of its on-going facilities development plan.
The Outdoor Pursuits Centre at Ystrad Fields boasts a comprehensive range of outdoor equipment for the following activities; Mountaineering, Rock Climbing, Kayaking, Caving and Camping. Orienteering, Indoor Climbing/Kayaking and Scuba Diving facilities are available on the main University campus.
Additionally, with its rural location bordered by the Brecon Beacons and Pembrokeshire National Parks, Trinity University College is ideally placed to take full advantage of the outstanding outdoor recreational opportunities that surround it.
The Outdoor Pursuits Club is well established and organises walks, climbs, camps etc. on a regular basis. The club receives on-going support from the School.
